I can confirm that even after 4 years they still didn't close this hack! Maybe they just don't care :D
I can add that in modern versions of Lubuntu Terminal installation does not work, it somehow doesn't create folder after downloading files. But that's not a very big deal, you can just download install package from https://www.dropbox.com/install?os=lnx page, than right click file -> open with QtPackageInstaller or something like that.
EMail works great still. There is also 1 additional problem, after registering 10-12 users from one IP address system blocks you from registering more and prompt to wait. It seems that it slowly add this 10-12 users slots in like 30 or 60 minutes, one by one until it refills. If you don't want to wait, you can use free proxy server (input IP address and port in firefox settings -> general -> (bottom of page) network settings). You can use this site hideip.me to get proxy list, than use this site https://hidemy.name/en/proxy-checker/ to check for working proxies. 2 proxies should be enough to register all 32 users.
One more useful thing you can do is use online clipboard like https://cl1p.net to save your referral link, proxy server IP/port, dropbox client download page and your generated EMail. This way you can quickly access this information inside virtual machine!
